Are you a Transactional or a Transformational Leader?

time for change

Take a minute to think back upon the leaders in your life.  Who inspired you the most?  Was it a teacher who encouraged you to never give up and follow your dreams?  Maybe it was a boss who challenged you to meet high expectations.  If this person motivated you to do and be your very best, chances are you were in the presence of a transformational leader.

Canada lost a charismatic leader in Jack Layton when he died of cancer at the age of 61.

This is not about what he accomplished politically, but who he was as a leader. No matter what your political beliefs, we can learn something from Jack’s personal leadership attributes. Some of these stories and lessons come from his colleagues in government, but many come from the many ordinary Canadians he touched.
