Has anyone ever asked you what your values are?

The first time someone asked me, I was dumbfounded. What do values have to do with achieving results, excelling in your work, inspiring others, and leading great teams?

In my office, I have the words Dream it, Plan it, Do it hanging on my wall where I can see it. These words serve as a constant reminder that, in order to make anything happen, you have to dream it first. You need a clear vision of what you want to happen.  When you put your dream into words by saying it out loud or, better yet, by writing it down, you lay the foundation for the plan that will make your dream come true.
